Firstly I should apologise for being MIA for so long! The usual list of things about life taking over, and just not having the time to blog well should probably apply, but in truth, it’s more about wanting something really exciting to tell you all about each time! So it’s been a while between exciting moments in my writing world, but today there’s not one but two items to talk about.
Firstly, one of my favourite short stories was picked up for publication by Unfading Daydream. Unfading Daydream is a literary Magazine that releases quarterly, focusing on speculative literature from emerging writers. The theme for this issue is ‘Retold’, one of my favourite things ever, and my story, ‘The Open Door’, is a modern take on The Pied Piper of Hamelin. Secondly, I have two pieces in the Horrified Press Anthology, ‘Revenge’! Both ‘Take Me Away’ and “Her’ explore different aspects of revenge, and I’m thrilled to be in such good company as the Thirteen O’Clock Press writers.
